One of the things I love about Red Mountain is its contrasts. Even in the warmth, the wines retain freshness and energy. The stark, wind-swept landscape gives rise to wines that are rich, resonant, and built on serious structure. This is what drew us to this place. These lots are among the first we harvest each year, and they never fail to get us excited for the vintage. The wine opens with deep red currant, sage, and a touch of vanilla. It is bright and lifted on the palate, framed by dusty, powerful tannins that carry the character of the site.
